CBC’s Hamper Day has been run and won for 2023! Gary Charker’s Team clinches the top prize after a tight contest. The final match playoff witnessed a gripping moment when Dave Lindbeck’s last bowl skilfully disrupted the head, redirecting the jack but only to another opposition bowl to determine the final outcome. Everyone enjoyed the day which has long been a tradition with the club even in the heat, hopefully next year it will be bigger and better. Well done to all that took part and a big thank you to the ladies who ran the tournament.
