It started out a promising weekend but we all fell short in the final outcome. Grade 1 had a win on Sat only to take a loss at Belco on Sun. Grade 5’s started off well, holding a lead on the big board up until the halfway point in the game, it was only 1 or 2 shots difference nearly all the way. But fell behind in the later part of the game which made it harder to make up. Grade 2 the same, only they were holding a slightly higher margin until the later part of the game only to see that lead being whittled away. In the end it came down to the final bowl of the day with the big board scores all tied up and the Bowls Gods just weren’t with us. So, in the end a disappointing weekend but there is always next year!
